Geography and Weather

  The winter resort is located just above the colorful town of Bansko 12 km into the picturesque Pirin Mountain. The geographical location high in the mountain and the technical capability of the resort with its more than 160 snow cannons secure snow coverage from December to May.

Old Town & Fun

  Bansko's history comes to life in the old town. Worth visiting are the dark, peaceful Sveta Troitsa Church with its 30m (98ft) high clock tower built in 1835, and the Icon Museum, which houses works by local 19th-century painters. The magnificent Rila Monastery can be visited in a day trip by car or bus.

Dotted around the town are a large number of mehanas - the wonderful traditional eating houses, where fine local wine and sometimes live folk music (in busy seasons) accompany hearty Bulgarian food.

  The perfectly prepared and efficiently secured ski runs are stretched over 70 km. 25 km of modern high-capacity lift infrastructure stands for comfort and minimal waiting times.

Enjoy every one of the total of 70 km of perfectly prepared and efficiently secured ski runs. Difficulty scale distribution is as followed: 30% Beginners, 45% Advanced and 35% Expert.

The highest track point is 2560 m, the lowest – 1000 m above see level. The longest possible track combo makes a 16 km downhill race.
